Two Dead, 2 Airlifted In Memorial Day Weekend Cecil County Crash
Two people were killed in a crash Sunday night, May 26 in Cecil County, Maryland State Police said.
A Toyota Camry was heading west in the left turn lane when it was struck by an eastbound BMW 528 on Pulaski Highway (Route 40) at Wells Camp Road in North East around 9 p.m., State Police said.
A passenger in the Toyota Camry, Virginia Thomas, 61, of North East, was airlifted to a local trauma center where she was pronounced dead. The second person who died was a female passenger of the BMW, whose identity is being withheld pending notification of kin.

Waldorf Man Assaults Officer Telling Him To Back Off Of Security Guard In Virginia, Cops Say
A Maryland man has been arrested in Virginia after assaulting and seriously injuring an officer overnight, police said.
The officer was conducting parking enforcement on the 2900 block of Columbia Pike in Arlington when he saw 29-year-old Otis Brown, of Waldorf, MD, confronting security of a nearby business around 12:50 a.m. Sunday, May 26, county police said.
The officer approached Brown and told him to stop, but Brown shoved the officer into a parked, unoccupied vehicle, causing property damage, then hit the officer several times, county police said in a release. Brown fled on foot w…
