"We recognize a young lady who, for her entire time in the middle school, has been a springboard for the attitudes and behaviors that make communities stronger," said Middle School Dean of Students Peter Lingenheld.

One experience that both stood out and was representative of Maggie's performance at school included her interactions with new students. Some of those students said Maggie had been warm and welcoming during their first week of school.

Maggie also has a mature sense of accountability, Lingenheld said, including working hard, having a positive attitude, being on time and being accountable if she isn't able to finish an assignment on time.

"Through her actions and attitudes as a student, friend, athlete, worker, and leader, Maggie goes big, and she always sticks the landing. Maggie, we score it a 10," Lingenheld said.

Wooster School is an independent, co-educational college prep day school, serving students from Fairfield and Westchester counties. Located in Danbury, its students are pre-K through 12th grade.
