A resident came to police headquarters on Saturday and reported that sometime during the evening, someone had ransacked his car, which had been left unlocked. He reported that his wallet was stolen, which contained his personal ID, assorted credit cards and some cash, police said.
He told police that the keys were left inside the car, but the car was not taken.
