REDDING, Conn. -- A 15-year-old Easton boy was charged with burglary, home invasion and threatening after breaking into a home on Church Hill Road in Redding, where he apparently had gone to collect a $400 drug debt, according to the Redding Pilot.
The teenage victim called 911 at about 2:30 p.m. Jan. 29 to report the incident, the Pilot said. When officers responded, they detained at least seven teenagers, including three girls, but charged only one, according to the Redding Pilot.
All the teens are believed to be students at Joel Barlow High School, and further arrests are possible after the police investigation, according to the Redding Pilot.
