Monroe Woman Charged After Overdose Death In Trumbull Starbucks

TRUMBULL, Conn. -- A 22-year-old Monroe woman has been arrested on charges in connection with the January heroin overdose death of a 24-year-old man in the bathroom of a Trumbull Starbucks, according to MonroeCourier.com.

Christina Lee was in the Starbucks when authorities arrived on Jan. 6 and found the 24-year-old Stratford man unconscious who later died, according to MonroeCourier.com.

Lee, who faces counts of possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia, was questioned at the Starbucks on the day of the man's death, but was charged later after the police investigation was completed, according to MonroeCourier.com.

According to MonroeCourier.com, Lee turned herself over to authorities on Thursday, May 5, and will appear in court on Wednesday, May 11.
