Monroe Man Found Hiding In Bushes Had Drugs, BB Gun, Police Say

MONROE, Conn. -- A Monroe man was arrested after police found him hiding in bushes with drugs and a BB gun this past weekend, according to the Monroe Courier.

Officers found 21-year-old Nicholas Ludwig hiding in bushes just before 4 a.m. the morning of Saturday, July 1, the Monroe Courier reported. They found heroin/fentanyl and a BB gun on him, and later investigation led police that he intended to sell the drugs, according to the Monroe Courier.

Ludwig was arrested on Wednesday and charged with possession of narcotics, possession with intent to sell, and carrying a facsimile firearm, according to the Monroe Courier. He was held on a $2,000 bond.
