Road Paving Program Continues In Trumbull

TRUMBULL, Conn. -- Commuters and residents should be prepared for possible lane closures and delays during the road paving program throughout Trumbull.

Construction work begins at 7 a.m. daily, but all bus stops will remain in their current locations.

During the week of June 20 to June 24, the following areas will be affected:

  • Installation of top layer of asphalt will be installed on Nokomis Road, Zephyr, Magnolia and Clemens Avenues (from Sunrise to Magnolia) – weather permitting.
  • Roadway grading will continue on Pequonnock Road, Alice Place, Sunset Avenue, Burton Avenue, Hillside Avenue, Cypress Lane, Cedar Crest Road and a portion of Berkshire Avenue (from Sunset Avenue to Hillside Avenue).
  • First layer of asphalt installation will begin on Pequonnock Road, Alice Place, Sunset Avenue, Burton Avenue, Hillside Avenue, Cypress Lane, Cedar Crest Road and a portion of Berkshire Avenue (from Sunset Avenue to Hillside Avenue) weather permitting.
  • Drainage improvements will continue on Machalowski Road.
