The case of Valiante, 31, was continued until Feb. 29 to give her lawyer, Elliot Warren, time to go over evidence and documents, the Post said.

Warren said police and prosecutors want her to tell what she knows about Jeanette and Jeffrey Navin, who disappeared from their Easton home on Aug. 3 and were found murdered in a yard in Weston on Oct. 29, the Post said.

Their son, Kyle Navin, 27, has been charged with two counts of murder in their deaths. He was deeply in debt to his parents and was addicted to heroin, according to prosecutors, and faced being disinherited and cut off by his parents. Valiante is charged with conspiracy to commit murder and hindering prosecution in the case. Both are held on million-dollar bonds.

Warren said Valiante has received treatment for her drug addiction while in jail, the Post reported.
