Teens Can Watch A Movie, Eat Mac And Cheese At Monroe Library

MONROE, Conn. -- The Edith Wheeler Memorial Library in Monroe will host a teen dinner and movie from 6-8:30 p.m. Friday.

The event is open to teens in grades 7-12.

Teens will choose the food and movie for the next meeting. Then they'll add mix-ins to a plate of mac and cheese and watch the movie chosen by kids from the previous month. Mix-ins include chili, broccoli, mixed vegetables, bacon bits, salsa and sliced hot dogs.

Call the library to find out the title of the movie. The library will be making a different dinner at each monthly meeting.

Registration is required and limited to 20 people. The library will be closed, so be sure to come to the back door to enter.

The Edith Wheeler Library is at 733 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe. The event will take place in the Ehlers Meeting Room.
