Take Your Child To The Library Day Celebrated In Monroe

MONROE, Conn. -- The Edith Wheeler Memorial Library is hosting Take Your Child to the Library Day Saturday, Feb. 6.

Patrons are welcome to bring their kids to the library for its celebration of Take Your Child to the Library Day.

Stop by the library for the fun, free activities.

Scratch art pictures -- 10:30-11:30 a.m.
Turtle Dance music concert -- 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Balloon creations and musical chairs with the EWML Teen Advisory Board -- 12:30-1:15 p.m.
Owl and heart crab crafts with the EWML Teen Advisory Board -- 1:30-2 p.m.
Dads and donuts storytime -- 1:45-2:30 p.m.
Puppet craft -- 2:30-3:30 p.m.

Kids can also play bingo and win prizes. No registration is required. The event is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
