Kids Can Compete For Prizes At 13th Annual Monroe Police Fishing Derby

MONROE, Conn. -- The 13th annual Monroe Police Fishing Derby will take place at Wolfe Park's Great Hollow Lake from 6-9 a.m. on Saturday, May 21.

It's open to children ages 3-15 and prizes will be given out in each age group. The largest fish of any kind by weight in each age group wins a prize. 

The age groups are:

  • 5 and under
  • 6-7
  • 8-9
  • 10-11
  • 12-15

Wolfe Park, Great Hollow Lake is at 454 Purdy Hill Road, Monroe.
