High Schools In Trumbull To Square Off In One Book, One Town Debate

TRUMBULL, Conn. -- Debate teams from two high schools in Trumbull will square off against each other in the annual debate based on the town's One Book, One Town selection on Wednesday, March 2 at the Trumbull Library.

Anthony Doerr's "All the Light We Cannot See," is the basis for the upcoming One Book, One Town, debate between St. Joseph High School and Trumbull High School debate teams.

This year's community read, "All the Light We Cannot See," by Anthony Doerr’s, is the center of the debate between the St. Joseph High School and Trumbull High School debate teams . 

The event will be moderated by Judge T.R. Rowe, and members of the Yale University Debate Club will determine the debate winner.

The debate will be held between 7 and 8 p.m. and surrounds whether manipulating food and its production is morally acceptable during wartime.
