TRUMBULL, Conn. -- Join an author Sunday for a discussion about a local landmark -- and treats fitting for the theme.
Serge Mihaly is the author of "The Burroughs Cider Mill." While at the Trumbull Library, he will discuss the birth and development of this long-forgotten Trumbull landmark, which was built in 1884 by Stephen Burroughs.
A family-run mill, it produced cider and other apple-related products for nearly 90 years.
In addition to learning a little history, the free discussion will include cider and donuts. Participants also can buy the book and get it signed.
