The day will continue dry with sun giving way to clouds by Monday afternoon, according to the Weather Service.

The frosty temperatures will stay way below averages for the rest of the day and overnight, when the low will be 19.

Tuesday brings the warm trend, though not before some possible afternoon snow, which could change to rain and sleet later in the day. Skies will be cloudy and the temperature will be near 37, though wind chill values will sharpen the feel, making it seem between 15 and 25.

Tuesday night comes with a small possibility of rain and sleet, then possibly rain takes over. The mercury will climb to near 40 by early Wednesday, with wind chill value up to 10 points less. The precipitation likelihood is 80 percent, though don't expect any water to accumulate with this system.

Wednesday brings a potential for rain in the morning then becomes cloudy. Sunny skies will roll in slowly and the air will be nearly 46.

More rain is expected overnight into Thursday under cloudy skies with cooler air to near 34.
