Paving To Impact Traffic On Some Redding Roads Beginning This Week

REDDING, Conn. -- Drivers should expect delays and closures on a couple roads in Redding this week due to road work.

The town of Redding announced this week that the Highway Department will start reclaiming and paving Sanfordtown Road from Cross Highway to Newtown Pike, and Lonetown Road from Route 107 to Cross Highway. The work will begin Wednesday, Aug. 16 and take approximately four weeks.

Expect delays and road closures while work is being done. Residents who live within the work zone will be able to access their property while the reconstruction is in progress. All others are urged to take alternate routes.
