Follow Detours: Two Roads Closed In Wilton After Storm

WILTON, Conn. — In the wake of an icy storm overnight, some roadways are Tuesday closed in Wilton, police said. 

Ridgefield Road/Route 33 remains closed between Nod Hill and Deforest Road with a tree down.

Here are the closures:

  • Ridgefield Road (Route 33) closed between Nod Hill and Deforest Road Tree and Powerlines Down
  • Sturges Ridge Road is closed near Cedar Road Tree Down 
Wilton CERT is on the scene with detours set up. 

There is no estimate for reopening Ridgefield Road as Eversource is not yet on scene, CERT said via Facebook. Detours are in place, and motorists are asked to avoid the area. CERT is on the scene assisting with traffic flow.
