Freezing rain is likely before 9 a.m., then changing to rain with patchy fog, the National Weather Service said.
The northern part of Fairfield County is under a Freezing Rain Advisory until 1 p.m. Tuesday with a 100 percent chance of rain. The weather service warns that roadways may be slippery.

- Brookfield Public Schools: two-hour delay
- Danbury Public Schools: two-hour delay
- Easton Public Schools/Region 9: Two-hour delay
- Henry Abbott Tech, Danbury: two-hour delay
- Monroe Public Schools: two-hour delay
- New Fairfield Public Schools: three-hour delay
- Newtown Public Schools: two-hour delay
- Ridgefield Academy: 90-minute delay
- Ridgefield Public Schools: two-hour delay
- Redding Public Schools/Region 9: Two-hour delay
- Shelton Public Schools: two-hour delay
- Sherman Public Schools: two-hour delay
- Trumbull Public Schools: two-hour delay
- Weston Public Schools: two-hour delay
- Wilton Public Schools: two-hour delay
