“The town did its part in repairing the considerably worn-out playground and fixing drainage issues at the Tashua playground,” said Rutigliano. “Now it is our turn to put the final touches on, by repainting the much loved map of the USA and adding the Tashua mascot logos to the playground and new basketball courts.”

Rutigliano and the Fathers' Club, a group of Tashua dads who assist with school fundraising efforts, are asking parents to help reach the goal of raising $5,000 to cover the cost of the special traffic paint and the mural stencil.

In previous years, the Father’s Club has purchased new playground equipment on either side of the swing set and new technology for the classrooms and teachers, including interactive white boards and new computers for the fourth, fifth and sixth grades.
