Trumbull Democrats To Hold Primary For State Senate

TRUMBULL, Conn. -- A Democratic Party Primary election will be held in Trumbull on Tuesday, Aug. 9, according to the Office of the Trumbull Registrar of Voters.

Official notice came down from the Office of the Secretary of the State that the primary is scheduled to determine the nomination for the office of State Senator in the 22nd District, which represents all of Trumbull.

Candidates for this office are Thomas C. McCarthy and Marilyn V. Moore. Voting will take place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at normal polling places, which are as follows:

  • District 1, Hillcrest School
  • District 2, St. Joseph High School
  • District 3, Madison Middle School
  • District 4, Middlebrook School

Only voters registered with the Democratic Party will be eligible to vote on Aug. 9. If you are not sure of your party enrollment status, contact the Office of the Registrar at (203) 452-5059 or at this link.
