TRUMBULL, Conn. -- Trumbull's budget proposal rolled out by First Selectman Tim Herbst Feb. 10 calls for an anticipated four-job cut, according to the Trumbull Times.

The staff reduction suggestions came from an outside audit by the Matrix Group, said the Trumbull Times.

Town staff would be compensated when they vacate their positions, according to the Trumbull Times.

Eight town employees have agreed to an early retirement plan the Town Council has already approved, the Trumbull Times said.
