TRUMBULL, Conn. -- A Waterbury man allegedly couldn't go through with robbing a fashion accessory shop in the Westfield Trumbull Mall, according to the Connecticut Post.
Christopher Alston, 28, allegedly revealed the butt of a gun in his waistband to the clerk and asked her to open the register on April 20, Connecticut Post reported.
After the clerk broke down in tears, Alston allegedly said he wouldn't hurt her and left the store, said Connecticut Post.
Alston was later arrested while allegedly casing the Shelton Walmart on May 31, Connecticut Post reported.
Officers reported that Alston admitted to attempting to rob the store with a BB gun and apologized, said Connecticut Post.
