REDDING, Conn. -- Two cars parked in the same driveway were broken in to Monday night on Black Road Turnpike in Redding, according to the Redding Pilot.

Although both cars were unlocked, Redding police said the incident adds to a recent rise in burglaries and larcenies that began last November in the town, said the Redding Pilot.

Police said the only missing item from the cars was a GPS unit, the Redding Pilot said. They are reminding residents to lock their cars and homes, added the Redding Pilot.
