Trumbull Man Charged In Sexual Assault Of Former Co-Worker In Stratford

STRATFORD, Conn. -- A 31-year-old Trumbull man is facing sexual assault and trespass charges after police say he forced himself on a Stratford woman who used to work with him at the Westport post office, according to the CT Post.

Stratford police arrested a Trumbull man, who is a letter carrier in Westport, after a former post office co-worker said he sexually assaulted her in her Stratford home, the CT Post says.

Dennis Hwang, of Avalon Gates in Trumbull, is free on $10,000 bond after being charged with third-degree sexual assault and criminal trespass. Police say the woman was able to activate her alarm system after he forced himself into the house, the CT Post says.

The man is reportedly a letter carrier at the Westport post office and was wearing a U.S. Postal Service uniform at the time. Police said he and the woman used to work together at the post office, the CT Post reports.
