TRUMBULL, Conn. -- The Trumbull Police Department's $1.7 million renovation of its Emergency Communications Center is complete and up-and-running, according to the Trumbull Times.
The center, located inside police headquarters, included upgrades to the electrical system; the uninterrupted power supply; the generator; parts of the heating and cooling system; and security components for the building, said the Trumbull Times.
The town's upgrade to its radio system for the Trumbull Police Department was also part of the renovation and will provide new radios for officers and cars, and will operate on a newer digital technology, the Times. The work on the radio system is expected to be completed this year, added the Trumbull Times.
