TRUMBULL, Conn. -- Trumbull first responders rescued an injured cyclist at the Pequonnock River Valley on Wednesday.

At around 4:30 p.m. the Long Hill Volunteer Fire Company, with assistance from the Trumbull Volunteer Fire Company, the Trumbull Police Department and Trumbull Emergency Medical Services, were dispatched for an injured cyclist off the main trails.

First arriving police, fire and EMS units found the cyclist and packaged him for transport. Fire units used the Long Hill Polaris for final removal of the cyclist from the valley.
