MONROE, Conn. -- Monroe Police and Fire Department units responded to a single-car crash Saturday night that disrupted power for some local residents.
The accident occurred around 10 p.m. on Route 111 near Spring Hill Road. The crash displaced a utility pole and destroyed a business sign. One person was transported to the hospital. No other details were available.
Monroe emergency responders have rushed to scenes of motor vehicle accidents on three successive Saturdays, according to a Facebook post.
