The incident occurred at 1:30 p.m. April 10 while the two boys were riding their bicycles at the Royce Apartments located off Old Town Road in Trumbull, police said. Both boys suffered minor injuries, police said.

Two other juvenile males approached the two and said they wanted to ride the boy’s bikes, police said.

After the boys said “no,” the suspects punched the two boys and shoved them off their bikes, police said.

An iPhone belonging to one of the victims fell to the ground, and one suspect took it as they rode off on the boy’s bikes, police said.

The suspects fled with the iPhone but discarded the bicycles nearby, police said.

They were last seen running behind one of the buildings in the complex, police said.

Officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspects, police said.

The victims did not require medical attention.
