Dakari Smith, 20, of Brooklyn, was picked up Wednesday on a warrant in Queens Court for the robbery which took place in July 2017 at the beauty services store on Greenwich Avenue, said Lt. John Slusarz.

During the robbery, Smith and two others entered the store with shopping bags and began filling them up with merchandise before being stopped by an employee, Slusarz said.

Smith and the others then pushed the employee and grabbed her cell phone to get away, he added.

Officers had a warrant out for his arrest since the crime. Once arrested, he was charged with three counts of larceny and robbery.

Smith is being held on $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on May 9.
