EASTON, Conn. — A 69-year-old Bridgeport man was arrested at the Easton Fireman's Carnival after threatening to shoot police officers and emergency medical personnel at the fundraising event, according to the Connecticut Post.

Alfred Hofer was charged with second-degree threatening and breach of peace on Friday after telling police and EMTs that he had been mistreated by them, pointing his finger and saying “Bang, bang bang,” and then promising to get his gun, the Post said.
