Police told the Connecticut Post that Awad Awad, 31, of New Britain first encountered the 37-year-old woman at the I-95 northbound rest stop Wednesday. The woman had stopped for something to eat and noticed him walk to the side of the car and stare at her while she was eating, the Connecticut Post reported. She then left and drove to the Fairfield rest stop.

When she got there, she saw him again come up to her car, where he asked her to perform a sex act on him, the Connecticut Post reported. She took a photo of him and ran inside the rest area, where an employee called police, according to the Connecticut Post.

Police were able to identify Awad from the photo and arrested him, the Connecticut Post reported. He reportedly told police that it was just a coincidence that he had run into her again. He was charged with second-degree stalking and breach of peace, according to the Connecticut Post.
