Danbury police executed search-and-seizure warrants at 7:15 p.m. Thursday on Nicole Maria Crutchfield, 31, and her attic apartment at 34 Wildman St., third floor, police said.

She was found parking her car in the lot next to her residence, police said. After stopping her and finding the cash, drug paraphernalia, suspected stolen merchandise and shoplifting tools, investigators proceeded to her apartment, police said.

Jacinto Andrade, 51, Crutchfield’s ex-boyfriend, was found in the attic apartment, which they share, police said.

The room was littered with drug paraphernalia, and Andrade was found to be in possession of heroin, police said.

Crutchfield and Andrade were both arrested.

Crutchfield was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on a promise to appear in court.

Andrade faces the same charges and was also released on a promise to appear in court.

The warrants were executed by members of the Danbury Police Department’s Special Investigations Division with the assistance of the Community Conditions Unit.

They were issued after an investigation into citizen complaints that Crutchfield was selling illegal drugs in Danbury, police said.
