TRUMBULL, Conn. -- The cousin of a car's owner chased three Bridgeport women after they allegedly stole the vehicle and went on a Target shoplifting spree, according to the Connecticut Post.

Kayla Davis, 18, of Bridgeport, Tioni Martinez, 18, of Stratford, and a juvenile from Fairfield were apprehended by police, the witness and the car's owner outside the Trumbull Target on Tuesday evening, the Connecticut Post reported.

A spring-loaded knife modeled to look like a handgun was found in the Honda Accord's cup holder, said the Connecticut Post.

Davis and the juvenile were charged with carrying a weapon in a motor vehicle, first-degree larceny and sixth-degree larceny, while Martinez was charged with first-degree larceny and carrying a weapon in a motor vehicle, the Connecticut Post reported.
