MONROE, Conn. -- Several missing fishing rods have snagged a Monroe man who is now accused of burglary, according to the Connecticut Post.
Frank Benegoss, of Wingate Circle, is accused of stealing the rods and a number of other items from a neighbor's garage, according to the Post, which reports that the 39-year-old later allegedly pawned the items in Bridgeport.
Benegoss is accused of returning to the garage days after his alleged initial theft to steal additional items, according to the Post, which reported that authorities believe he pawned those items as well.
Benegoss turned himself over to authorities Monday and was charged with two counts of third-degree burglary and one count of third-degree larceny, according to the Post, which reported that bond was set at $10,000.
