Man Charged With Pointing Gun At Family In Trumbull

TRUMBULL, Conn. -- A Bridgeport man is accused of threatening a family with a gun in a Sunday road rage incident on Route 25 in Trumbull, according to the Connecticut Post.

A husband, wife and daughter were heading north in a car in the left lane with a vehicle driven by Lonnie Cross following closely behind them, state police told the Connecticut.

Cross allegedly flashed his lights at them then moved to the right lane to pass their car, according to the Connecticut Post.

When Cross was alongside the car, the wife opened a rear window and photographed him, according to the Connecticut Post.

Police told the Connecticut Post that Cross yelled at her and pointed a handgun at the family through an open window.

He was charged with having a weapon in a motor vehicle, second-degree threatening, first-degree reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a firearm, according to the Connecticut Post
