NORWALK, Conn. — Norwalk police are searching for a suspect who stabbed a male victim at a home on Midwood Road early Thursday, causing serious injuries, police said.
"The suspect(s) fled the scene prior to police arriving," police spokesman Lt. Terrence Blake said. "However, based on the preliminary investigation it appears this is an isolated incident."

Officers found a male victim in the residence suffering from "serious stab wounds," he said. "Officers immediately rendered aid, to include the application of a tourniquet."
Norwalk Hospital EMS transported the victim to Norwalk Hospital.
The Norwalk Police Department's Crime Scene Unit is processing the scene, and Norwalk Detectives are investigating.
