Long Hill Fire Company Knocks Down House Fire In Trumbull

TRUMBULL, Conn. -- Long Hill Volunteer Fire Company responded to Trumbull Center on a report of smoke coming from a house on Daniels Farm Road around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Crews arrived to find a vacant two-and-a-half story house off the road with heavy fire and smoke showing from all floors and the attic, according to fire officials.

An initial exterior attack knocked down the heavy fire. Crews then stretched two lines to the interior to extinguish any remaining fire.
