TRUMBULL, Conn. -- Two local fire companies were dispatched to a reported vehicle fire on Thursday.

Long Hill Volunteer Fire Co. No. 1 and Trumbell Center Fire Department arrived and quickly found the source of the fire -- perhaps unsurprisingly, in the vehicle's engine compartment.

The firefighters were able to rapidly extinguish the fire, Long Hill noted in a Facebook post Thursday evening.
