WILTON, Conn. — Three people, including a firefighter, were sent to the hospital after a barn fire in the Georgetown section of Wilton late Sunday, according to NBC Connecticut.

Fire crews from several area towns battled the two-alarm blaze, which began at about 7 p.m. in a barn on Church Street, NBC Connecticut said.

Members of the Weston Volunteer Fire Department and Weston Volunteer EMS were among the units that responded with mutual aid to Georgetown.

Route 107 was closed late Sunday between Route 7 and Route 57 while firefighters worked and for an investigation, fire officials said.
