Yesenia Medina, 29, of Orchard Street, was arrested Sunday on a warrant for the July incident, police said.

Medina was turning right from Chambers Street to Kings Highway East when she struck a bright orange Donut Crazy truck, police said. The two men in the food truck found Medina’s car parked outside a nearby Dunkin Donuts on Villa Avenue and confronted her, but she denied hitting their truck and walked across the street toward a diner, police said.

Officers called to the scene found orange paint on Medina’s car, but she was not at the diner and was nowhere to be found, police said.

They tracked her down from the car’s license plate and a man who was in the car with her gave officers a sworn statement about the crash, police said.

Medina was charged with evading responsibility, failure to grant the right of way at an intersection, no insurance and interfering with an officer, police said. She is expected in court on Aug. 29.
