Carolyn Vargas, 45, of Black Rock Avenue, was charged with second-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, police said.

The victim said he was picking up belongings from Vargas’ home around 6:30 p.m. when an argument started because she found out he was seeing another woman, police said.

The victim did not want Vargas arrested, but called police to document the incident. The child was not injured, police said.
