Fairfield Officer Hurt In Chain-Reaction Crash In Easton During Snowstorm

EASTON, Conn. -- A police officer from Fairfield and another motorist sustained minor injuries after a chain-reaction car accident on the Easton-Fairfield border during the snowstorm Friday, according to the Connecticut Post.

A motorist heading south on Black Rock Turnpike lost control and collided with the officer's cruiser heading in the opposite direction at 2:30 p.m., the Post reported.

Additionally, the driver of a box truck reportedly cut his wheel too hard, tipped the truck over and was hit by another car before two other cars crashed into each other, said the Post.
