Fairfield Dog Owners Fined In Fatal Cat Attack In Easton

EASTON, Conn. -- The owners of two dogs from Fairfield were fined after their animals got loose and attacked and killed a cat in Easton, according to the Easton Courier.

Easton authorities say the two husky dogs were in quarantine after the Wednesday incident, the story said. The cat's owner was injured while trying to break up the attack, the Easton Courier reports.

The dogs' owners were given a ticket and fined for allowing the dogs to roam, the Courier said. The cat's owner was treated and released from a walk-in clinic, the Easton Courier said.
