The resident reported the burglary at 3:45 p.m. July 25, saying that her garage and vehicles had been entered and items were taken, police said.

At about 6 a.m. that day, her son went out to his unlocked vehicle in the driveway and found that it had been entered and several items of value had been taken, police said.

The suspect or suspects then went around to the back of the house and entered the garage through an unlocked garage door, police said. Several items were taken from the garage and from another vehicle parked inside, the resident told police.

The residents said they did not hear anything unusual during the night even though they have two dogs that would have barked if they heard something, police said.
