Easton Police Department Participates In 'Walk A Mile In Her Shoes' Event

EASTON, Conn. -- Members of the Easton Police Department took part in "Walk a Mile Her Shoes" Saturday to benefit the Center for Family Justice in Bridgeport, which works to bring awareness to sexual and domestic violence and abuse.

The walk kicked off at 9 a.m. on the Post Road and concluded at the Town Hall Green.

Some members of the police department wore women's heels for the walk.

Easton Police Chief Tim Shaw, who participated in the walk, was recognized for "Most Creative Shoes" and the Easton Police Department was recognized for "Best Social Media Post."
