Everything from sunglasses and gift cards to prescription drugs were reported stolen in the incidents.

A Merritt Street resident reported his 2014 black Lexus sedan stolen from outside the home sometime between 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday morning, police said. He had left the keys in the unlocked car, police said.

The family’s unlocked Subaru station wagon was also rummaged through.

Three unlocked family vehicles parked outside a Pratt Street home were entered overnight Thursday and an $80 pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses were stolen, police said.

On the same night someone rummaged through a car on nearby Norcliff Lane. The owner, who wasn’t sure if the car was locked, reported a purple wallet containing store credit cards and $150 in gift cards missing, police said.

Another unlocked car was rummaged through on Fox Street that night, police said. Nothing was taken, but belongings were strewn about the car.

On April 14, someone rummaged through an unlocked car on Larbert Road, where a 2009 Audi was stolen on April 12. The car’s owner heard noises around 3 a.m., but thought it was sanitation workers and went back to sleep, police said.

Later that day, a woman on Miro Street said someone stole 40 Adderall pills and 10 to 15 omeprazole pills from her unlocked car outside her home.
