TRUMBULL, Conn. -- Trumbull first responders recently returned from a call to a message of appreciation printed in chalk on the pavement outside Long Hill Station House, according to the Connecticut Post.

"Thank you for all you do" with drawings of a flower, sun and smiley face welcomed crews back to the one-story brick firehouse at 14 Meadow Road, according to the Connecticut Post report.
