Brookfield Police Welcome Newest Officer To The Force

BROOKFIELD, Conn. -- The Brookfield Police Department welcomed the newest member to its ranks this week.

Officers from Brookfield and Ridgefield gathered to welcome and congratulate Officer Terry Hawaux on joining the Brookfield Police Department.

On Thursday, Officer Terry Hawaux was sworn in as the department's newest police officer. Hawaux joins Brookfield as a later transfer from the Ridgefield Police Department, where he served as an officer for approximately four years.

Hawaux will be spending the next few weeks on accelerated field training, where he will be getting acquainted with the ins and outs of the town and police department.
