Monroe Police received a report in November that the van had been broken into at a Main Street business and the tools were stolen. Detectives investigating the incident later located some of the stolen items at a local pawn shop, police said.

Through their investigation, police were able to identify 57-year-old Leonard Frascatore of Bridgeport as a suspect, and a warrant was obtained for his arrest, police said.

Frascatore was arrested on Wednesday, Jan. 10 by Monroe Police and charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal trespass, third-degree larceny and third-degree criminal mischief. He was released on a $10,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 18.
