Bridgeport Gas Station Robbed At Gunpoint; Police Seek 3 Suspects

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Three men armed with handguns robbed a gas station on Madison Avenue in Bridgeport on Monday night.

Bridgeport police are seeking information on the three men who robbed a BP gas station at 3725 Madison at gunpoint.

The BP gas station at 3725 Madison Ave. was robbed by the three men at around 11:30 p.m. Monday. One of the suspects pistol whipped the clerk in the head during the robbery, and all three suspects fled to the rear of Goodfellas Pizza, according to police.

The three men were described as black males wearing black hoodies, white gloves, black bandanas around their faces, and black pants, police said. 

"This is the first commercial robbery with the above description which usually means there will be more by these individuals," police said.
