Black Bear Spotted On Black Rock Road

EASTON, Conn. -- A black bar was spotted in the Black Rock Road neighborhood of Easton on Wednesday evening, according to the Easton Courier.

Denise Lynch alerted Emlyn Duemmler by phone that a bear was at her front door before her dogs apparently scared the animal back into the woods, the Easton Courier reported.

Easton has had 13 reported black bear sightings from March 19, 2015, to March 9, 2016, said the Easton Courier.
